Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This policy explains how Senda Dorada LLC handles the information you share with us when you request a quote, contact us, or correspond about wholesale coffee. We deal with businesses; we do not knowingly collect data from consumers or minors.
2. What we collect
- Business contact details you provide: company name, contact name, email, phone, shipping city, province and postal code.
- Order details: varieties, volumes, destination and service level you enter in the quote tool.
- Messages you send to our chat assistant or by email/WhatsApp.
- Sample reservation details: selected lots and formats, business contact information, destination and evaluation notes. A local browser draft may be stored so you can continue the request. The current preview does not collect payment-card information.
3. How we use it
- To prepare quotes and sample requests, confirm availability, verify payments made through an authorized order flow, fulfill orders, coordinate the selected shipping term and provide tracking.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- To keep records required for export, invoicing and tax compliance.
4. The AI assistant
Our chat assistant ("Don Laverde") is powered by a Google Gemini model accessed through our own server. Messages you send are processed to generate a reply. Do not share passwords, financial account numbers, or government IDs in the chat.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to deliver your order — for example the carrier (UPS) and payment processors (e.g. Stripe, which handles your card details directly on its own secure, PCI-compliant pages; we never see or store your card number) — and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Retention
We keep order and invoicing records as required by applicable law, and contact data for as long as needed to serve you. Personal information collected from Canadian business contacts is handled in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); where a contact is based in Quebec, Quebec's Law 25 may also apply. You may ask us to update or delete your contact information.
7. Your choices
To access, correct, or delete your information, or to opt out of further contact, email quotes@sendadorada.com. Commercial email to Canadian recipients is sent only with the consent required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), carries our identification and an unsubscribe mechanism, and an opt-out is honoured independently of whether an opportunity is marked lost; essential transaction messages may still be required for an active order.
