🏛️ CFIA/SFC Filing + CBSA Entry
A Safe Food for Canadians licence covers the applicable imported food shipment and the CBSA entry is accounted through CARM. Neither is a standing “approved” status, and neither means that the CFIA or CBSA approves a company, product, label or shipment.

Filing status, entry data and importer responsibilities appear only on the applicable confirmed shipment record.
Responsibilities are coordinated to a named destination.
The confirmed order should state who handles transport, entry, applicable filings, duties/taxes and delivery. Exact inclusions, insurance and timing must be verified before dispatch. For DAP or EXW, the buyer carries different responsibilities.
